Returns & Refunds
At Awfully British, we strive to ensure you’re delighted with your purchase. If you’re not completely satisfied due to a faulty or defective item we offer the following refund policy:
We have a 30-day returns policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Eligibility:
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn and unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Please be aware that our items are printed to order, If there's something you're not completely satisfied with then please still reach out to us and we can try and rectify the situation.
Starting A Return:
To start a return contact us at support@awfullybritish.com stating the reason for the return. We will let you know the next steps in the process and if a return is authorized we will guide you through the returns process.
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return cannot be accepted.
(Sending returns to the address provided without first contacting us will mean your item/s will be held for 30 days before being sent on to charity.)
Damages and issues:
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is not 100% perfect! If the item/s is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item please contact us so we can then evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items:
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like special orders or personalized items. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on certain sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges:
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have as soon as possible. We can only send an exchange once we have received the original item.
European Union 14 day cooling off period:
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receiving the item/s, for any reason and without a justification. Unless the item is Bespoke or made to measure. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. (Exceptions do still apply) - (See Exceptions / non returnable items)
Refunds:
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if/when the refund has been approved, you’ll automatically be refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 14 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return and you have not received your refund then please contact us at support@awfullybritish.com
GOODS:
Please note: The items on display are shown as digital images created by our art team. The design can be selected by the customer and then printed to order. Thereby becoming a custom-made bespoke item. The item's product images are showing an accurate representation of how the item will look once the item is printed. We sell original artistic designs which can be chosen by the customer to be custom printed.
